What you can expect

  • Embark on an unforgettable evening adventure through the golden dunes of the Al Khatim Desert on a desert safari from Abu Dhabi. Enjoy convenient pickup from your hotel or a selected location within the city, then travel comfortably to the desert for an exciting experience filled with adventure, culture, and entertainment.

Upon arrival in the desert, get ready for an exhilarating dune-bashing drive across the golden sand dunes. Feel the thrill as your experienced driver navigates the changing dunes, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the spectacular desert scenery and take photos.

Continue your adventure with sandboarding, a fun way to experience the desert slopes. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit a camel farm, where you can take photos and, depending on availability, have a chance to feed the camels.

At the traditional desert camp, enjoy a short camel ride and take in the peaceful surroundings. Capture memorable photos with a falcon and experience a taste of local traditions by trying traditional Arabic clothing. You can also enjoy a complimentary henna tattoo and take photos in the traditional setting.

Relax at the camp with complimentary Arabic tea, coffee, dates, and soft drinks while watching the sunset over the desert. As evening falls, settle in for a delicious BBQ dinner featuring a selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Your evening continues with live entertainment and traditional performances. Enjoy a mesmerising Tanoura show, an entertaining belly-dancing performance, and an exciting fire show. The combination of music, performances, desert surroundings, and Arabian hospitality creates a memorable evening under the stars.

After the camp experience, sit back and relax as you are comfortably transferred back to your hotel or drop-off location in Abu Dhabi.

Choose between a shared transfer or a private vehicle, depending on your preference. Whether you are looking for adventure, cultural experiences, entertainment, or simply a relaxing evening in the desert, this safari offers a complete Abu Dhabi desert experience.
