Get ready to explore, in a single day, Santa Pola with its Roman port, the most spectacular salt flats in Spain and the stunning Pink Lagoon in Torrevieja, and the famous island of Tabarca with its crystal-clear waters.
Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja Natural Park
We will begin our adventure in Alicante and head towards Torrevieja. After a short stop, we will enter the Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja Natural Park to admire the salt mountains, where another unmissable feature is the pink hue that stands out in the lagoon due to a natural phenomenon that occurs in the wetland. After visiting the salt flats and taking in this unique landscape, which will provide us with some truly original photographs, we will continue our journey.
Boat to Tabarca
Our next stop will be at the Port of Santa Pola, where we will board the boat that will take us to Tabarca Island. At 1,800 metres long and just 400 metres wide, this island is a place where you can see every nook and cranny on foot. There are no cars on its streets. Just the sea, seaside-style houses, and amazing people. Tabarca captivates all its visitors, whether they're adventurous types, lovers of the Mediterranean, or fans of water-based tourism. After a short guided tour of part of the island, you will have free time for a swim, to take photos, and to sample its delicious cuisine.
Short guided tour of Santa Pola
We will take the boat back to Santa Pola, where we will discover its past as a Roman port on a short tour of the old town to learn about its rich history, which has been shaped by the sea. You will then have free time to explore the streets, the beaches, or the port of this fishing town.
After spending the day in these wonderful places, we will take you back to the activity's starting point. Don't miss out on the opportunity to discover the best of this corner of the Mediterranean.
