As we leave Shem Creek you will see Fort Sumter, the famed site where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. This historic fortress sits proudly in the harbour, offering a glimpse into America’s past. Whether you’re a history buff or simply enjoying the ride, seeing Fort Sumter from the water is a powerful reminder of Charleston’s historical significance.

Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge (Pass by)

You’ll pass the towering Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, an iconic cable-stayed bridge that connects city centre Charleston to Mount Pleasant. The bridge’s modern design and towering height make it a striking feature of the city’s landscape, and passing beneath it gives you a true sense of its grandeur.
