Overview

At 3:00 PM, our friendly tour leader will pick you up from your stay and take you comfortably to the India-Pakistan border. There, you will see the daily flag ceremony. It is full of tradition and very exciting to watch. Tall soldiers wearing big turbans march together and close the gates with strong moves. This event, called the beating retreat, is a special tradition where people from both countries come together and feel proud of their nation.

After that, you'll travel to the Wagah Border on the Indian-Pakistani border, where you may see the daily flag-raising and lowering ceremony. This is a magnificent show of pomp and circumstance, with large turbaned warriors marching in timed formation and slamming gates. This custom is followed by border patrols from Pakistan and India and has grown to be a popular destination for tourists from both countries. The beating retreat ceremony aims to instil a sense of patriotism in the assembled audience. You will be taken back to your hotel around 7:30 PM following the event.
