What you can expect

  • Experience Amsterdam Through the Eyes of a Local. Most canal cruises show you Amsterdam.
This cruise helps you understand it.

Step aboard a luxury 100% electric canal boat and discover the city through the stories of a local Amsterdam skipper. While many canal cruises rely on recorded audio guides, your skipper brings Amsterdam to life with fascinating stories, local insights and hidden details that most visitors never hear.

Glide silently through Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed Canal Belt, surrounded by elegant canal houses, historic bridges, charming houseboats and picturesque waterways. Experience the city from its most iconic perspective — the water.

    A Unique View of Amsterdam

Unlike most canal cruises that start directly in the city centre, this cruise departs from Amsterdam Noord, next to the iconic A’DAM Tower and This is Holland.

Thanks to this unique departure location, you’ll also cruise across the River IJ, Amsterdam’s historic waterfront. Enjoy spectacular views of the city’s skyline, Central Station and historic harbour before entering the famous canals.

The departure point is easily reached with the free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station.

Discover Famous Landmarks and Hidden Gems. As you cruise through the city, your skipper shares stories about Amsterdam’s Golden Age, canal life and the people who shaped the city.

    Along the route you’ll pass:
    • Anne Frank House
    • The Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug)
    • The famous Seven Bridges View
    • The Golden Bend on the Herengracht
    • UNESCO-listed canal houses
    • Historic houseboats and hidden canals

From the water you’ll enjoy views that simply cannot be experienced from the streets.

    Luxury, Comfort and Sustainability

Your cruise takes place aboard a modern 100% electric boat, allowing you to glide quietly through the canals without engine noise.

Compared to larger sightseeing boats, the atmosphere is more intimate, relaxed and personal. Large windows and panoramic views provide excellent photo opportunities throughout the journey.

Sit back, relax and enjoy Amsterdam at a slower pace.

Drinks are available onboard while you take in the city’s spectacular scenery.

    Why Choose This Cruise?
    • Live stories from a local Amsterdam skipper
    • Luxury 100% electric canal boat
    • Cruise across the River IJ with skyline views
    • More personal than large tourist boats
    • Hear real stories instead of a recorded audio guide
    • Discover famous landmarks and hidden waterways
    • Excellent photo opportunities throughout the city
    • Easy departure next to A’DAM Tower and This is Holland

    Amsterdam’s Most Authentic Perspective

Whether you’re visiting Amsterdam for the first time or returning to discover more, this cruise combines comfort, local knowledge and authentic storytelling.

    • See the landmarks
    • Hear the stories.
    • Discover the hidden corners.

Experience Amsterdam through the eyes of a local.
