(Please note that this tour must be booked 2 months in advance or you must check the availability of entrance tickets to Machu Picchu for the desired date)
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and City Tour
Upon arrival in Cusco, an authorised representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your 2-star hotel, where you can rest and acclimatise. In the afternoon, you will start the City Tour at 2:00 pm, visiting the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, and the archaeological centers of Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. The tour will end around 6:30 p.m., and you will be transferred back to your hotel to rest.
Day 2: Machu Picchu tour
After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes. From there, you will board the bus to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour. After the tour, you will have time for lunch in Aguas Calientes before returning by train to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3: Excursion to the Humantay Lagoon
At 04:00 a.m., you will be picked up at your hotel and travel to Mollepata (approximately 3 hours). After breakfast, you will start a 2-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, famous for its emerald colour. After exploring the lagoon, you will return to Mollepata for lunch and then return to Cusco, arriving at 5:00 pm.
Day 4: Visit to Maras and Moray
At 07:30 a.m., you will leave for the picturesque village of Maras. We will visit the circular terraces of Moray, used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory, and the salt mines of Maras. You will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours. After the tour, you will return to Cusco at 3:00 p.m., where you will spend the night at your 2-star hotel.
Day 5: Rainbow Mountain
The day will start early, with an early morning pick-up at 04:00 and a transfer to Tintinco (2 hours 30 minutes). After breakfast, you will take a 2-hour hike to Rainbow Mountain, famous for its vibrant colours. After the visit, you will have lunch in Tintinco and return to Cusco at 5:00 p.m. to rest at your hotel.
Day 6: Waqrapukara
The day will begin with breakfast at Sangarara. Then, you will hike for 2 hours to the archaeological site of Waqrapukara, where you will explore the impressive ruins. Afterwards, you will return to Sangarara for lunch and then return to Cusco, arriving at 7:00 p.m. to rest.
Day 7: 7 Ausangate Lakes
At 04:30 hours, you will be picked up from your hotel and travel to Pacchanta (approximately 3 hours). From there, you will begin a 3-hour hike to the 7 lagoons of Ausangate, a set of beautiful lagoons of crystalline waters. After exploring the lagoons, you will return to Pacchanta to enjoy a buffet lunch and relax in the hot springs. Return to Cusco is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., and you will stay at your 2-star hotel.
Day 8: Farewell
On your last day, a private transfer will take you to the airport or bus terminal in Cusco for your departure.
