Ann Dewalt cheetah" most likely refers to the cheetahs at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre (formerly known as the De Wildt Cheetah Research Centre) in South Africa. Ann van Dyk was the founder of this renowned centre in 1971. She dedicated her life to the conservation of cheetahs and other endangered species. The centre is located in the North West Province of South Africa, near Brits and the Hartbeespoort Dam. It was the first facility in the world to breed cheetahs successfully in captivity on a sustainable basis. The centre played a crucial role in removing the cheetah from South Africa's endangered species list in 1986 due to its successful breeding programme. Over 600 cheetah cubs have been born there since its inception. 8h00 am (2 hours ): Cheetah run & 2 hours guided morning tour. Available on Tuesday,Thursdays,Saturday and Sunday 13h30 pm (1.5 hours) : Afternoon guided tour Guest will get to see the following Vultures/Caracal/Wilddogs/king cheetah Available on Sunday 13h30
