Are you ready to explore Argostoli's culinary hidden gems? Then this is the perfect tour for you.
The tour starts by passing by the oldest family house of Argostoli, where we will cross the main square Platia Vallianou, cycling to our first stop: a traditional bakery that sells typical products of Kefalonia. Here we will enjoy an aromatic Greek coffee with a delicacy.
Our tour guide then will lead the group via the famous Kampana square to stop #2: a unique family-owned pastry shop from 1910. Here we will get a demonstration of how one of Kefalonia’s finest and purest traditional products is made. Then we cycle to stop #3, the Farmers' Market. This market is where farmers sell their organic, fresh fruits and vegetables.
After the Farmers' Market, our guide will now lead you to one of Kefalonia’s secret food havens and stop #4: an old Greek taverna from 1933. Located close to the famous De Bosset bridge, we will enjoy a delicious Greek lunch.
After lunch we cycle to our last stop: an organic dairy producer. Here we taste the tastiest ice cream in Argostoli. This family business makes its own dairy products, such as rice porridge, cheese, milk, yoghurt and much more.
We will end the Argostoli Taste & Bike Tour with a pleasant group toast at the place where the tour started. We have a delicious Robola wine for the wine enthusiasts. Of course there is also water for people who don't drink alcohol
