  • The City of Tsaghkadzor is a small Olympic town approximately an hour’s drive away from Yerevan. The name of the city is referred to as “the gorge of flowers” since it is blooming with a variety of beautiful plants. According to the legend, these flowers were torn from the Pahlavuni princess’ garden and scattered over the land by the wind.

    You can discover the breathtaking beauty of Tsaghkadzor with a scenic ropeway ride! While the ropeway is an optional experience, it does require an additional fee.

    In addition to its natural beauty, Tsaghkadzor is home to the stunning 11th-century Kecharis Monastery - an important religious and scientific centre of medieval Armenia.
