Activity itinerary

Take the Astrophotographic Tour, with photos of one of the cleanest skies for astronomical observation. We will meet at the Meeting point to travel 10 km from San Pedro de Atacama, to the place where you will carry out the activity. There you will have this Astrophotographic Tour, in a space with very little light pollution, special for observing the night sky. The tour, which is separated into three stages, will have a talk about the Andean worldview. In the same way, there will be a moment of telescope observation, with which you will be able to see planets and some details of them that are not visible to the naked eye. Finally, you will have a photo session with the starry sky in the background so that you can take home a souvenir of this experience.

This was meant to be a trip of a lifetime. This tour company didn’t show up and didn’t bother notifying me that the tour was cancelled when it was all confirmed. All my other tours were impacted because of this, I couldn’t get refunds back from the other tours. It ruined my whole trip and I ended up doing only one tour. Horrible experience as it is not easy or cheap getting here.

The guy did a great job of translating everything in English even though we were a few English speakers. I felt it was food value with drive to the location, drop off, some midnight snack and drinks, Astrophotography, viewing through telescopes.

Der Sternenhimmel in der Atacma Wüste war sehr beeindruckend! Der Guide hat uns viele Infos gegeben und wir sahen mehrere Sternschnuppen. Es war ein sehr tolles Erlebnis!

The tour guide was pretty good. Unfortunately in 80% she was explaining in Spanish and maybe 20% in English. English speaking tourists missed a lot of information.. Also, we were promised to get 2 digital pictures from the tour and we never receive them.
