What you can expect

  • Starting in the town of Marinha Grande, known in the district of Leiria for its industry and located just a few kilometres from the Atlantic coast, this route passes by all the beaches, from Vale Furado Beach to São Pedro de Moel.

    Then it enters the forest, passing through the Vale dos Pirilampos (Valley of the Fireflies), and ends in Marinha Grande.

    At 54 km and with a difficulty level of 2/5, it's a perfect route for all kinds of people, especially those with less cycling experience. It's a peaceful route, mostly along secondary roads.
