The guide
The tour is led by Aurora Borealis expert - professional photographer who utilises a vastly collected database, thorough understanding of the region and solar wind data. Your guide will monitor weather forecast and solar wind graphs in real time to maximise your chance and ensure you are at the right place at the right time.
The hunt
If weather conditions in Finland are not favourable, it is not a problem, your guide will cross the border into Sweden.
Duration
On average, the tour lasts about 6 hours. However, the duration may vary between 4-10 hours depending on the weather conditions and solar wind activity.
Photo session
Using top-notch camera gears specialised in astro and night-time photography and videography, we provide both photos and videos in the highest quality. *High-quality video footage may vary depending on the brightness and intensity of the aurora on the night.
Unlike other tour operators, our photographers will take as many photos and videos of you as you like.

Group size
To make the tour and the photography session personalised, we only organise small-group tours of up to 8 guests. No crowds, and most importantly, no buses.

Pick-up and drop-off
This tour includes free pick-up and drop-off within a 10 km radius from Rovaniemi train station. No need to look for a meeting point or wait outside in the cold.
*If your accommodation is outside the free pick-up and drop-off range / you have a car, contact us and we can arrange an alternative option suitable for you.
Starting time
Pick-up time can be anytime between 16:00 and 00:00, depending on the time of year, weather, and solar wind activity.

The exact pick-up time will be confirmed on the day of the tour, between 15:00 and 21:00.
