Experience authentic Japanese tea culture on a scenic farm near Tokyo—pick fresh tea leaves, taste a variety of teas including matcha, and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch in a peaceful countryside setting.
The tour starts at 10:15 AM and ends around 2:15 PM at Shin-Matsuda Station. Escape the city and spend a relaxing day in Kaisei, a hidden countryside in Kanagawa. Walk through tea fields with a local tea master, learn how tea is grown, and (season permitting) try picking fresh leaves yourself.
After the walk, enjoy tasting a variety of Japanese teas at your own pace, from matcha and sencha to hojicha. Then sit down for a farm lunch featuring vegetable tempura, local rice, and seasonal dishes made with farm ingredients.
Vegan and halal-friendly meals are available upon request. Gluten-free options may be accommodated with advance notice.
This experience is ideal for travellers who want to go beyond a tea ceremony and discover the real storey behind Japanese tea in a relaxed setting.
