Your journey begins with a guided and informative cruise aboard an authentic Moliceiro boat, departing from Cais Aveiro no Coração, right in the heart of the city. (Unless otherwise informed by email due to unforeseen changes). As you glide through Aveiro's picturesque waterways, take in the sights of iconic landmarks such as the City Council building, a 15th-century tide mill, and the romantic Carcavelos Bridge.
The tour also highlights the contrast between the historic charm of the old town and the city’s modern side, including a shopping centre and a former ceramics factory now converted into a convention centre. The boat tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

After the cruise, your local guide — easily identified by a Bik&Vento badge — will be waiting at the dock to continue with a walking tour through Aveiro's most emblematic areas.

Begin your walk through the Beira Mar area, traditionally home to fishermen and salt workers. Wander the colourful streets lined with art nouveau buildings, local shops, and canals, while uncovering stories of Aveiro’s maritime past and everyday life.

Next, head into the city’s spiritual centre, home to sacred landmarks that reflect Aveiro’s religious heritage. Along the way, stop to enjoy a tasting of the traditional ovos moles, a sweet delicacy deeply connected to the city's identity and conventual traditions.

The tour concludes with tour along the area of Aveiro’s most important religious monuments, offering insight into its historical and architectural significance.

The walking tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, and is led by a different guide from the one on the boat. There will be a short break between both activities.

If you wish to book the tour as a private experience, only the walking tour can be arranged privately. The boat cruise cannot be made private, as each Moliceiro accommodates up to 34 people.
