Please note that Historical Park entrance fees are not included, as some visitors may have visited these sites previously.
Our route features easy riding that avoids main roads and focuses on peaceful backroads, making it suitable even for small children. The tour can be adjusted to match your preferred finishing time, depending on the weather and the riding speed of the group.
After a tuk-tuk pick-up from your accommodation, we will bring you to our convenient starting point, located near a local university, hospital, cafés, restaurants, and the Chao Samphraya National Museum.
Discover Ayutthaya the slow and local way—by bicycle. This guided ride combines the main UNESCO highlights with quiet backroads, local communities, and a real Thai meal experience.
Start with an easy bike and helmet test, then cycle on safe and mostly shaded roads to the most important temples in the Historical Park, including Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat. After exploring the heart of the old capital, we continue towards Hua Ro Market—a lively local market area—before leaving the tourist zone and riding into a more rural side of Ayutthaya.
In this quieter section, you’ll pass local areas and small temples on peaceful paths to reach Wat Maenang Pluem, a respected local temple known for its traditional atmosphere. Then we ride back to the Historical Park to visit the largest reclining Buddha in Ayutthaya.
Food experience
Morning tour: We will have an early lunch around 11:00 AM, depending on the tour route, weather, and the group’s riding speed.
Afternoon tour: We will do evening street food tasting instead of lunch.
After the cultural highlights, enjoy a meal at a real local place where most customers are Thai. Finally, we take a short, relaxed ride back to the starting point.
This tour is designed to be relaxed and unhurried—no rush, no pressure. We keep a comfortable pace and allow time at each stop so you can truly enjoy the temples, take photos, ask questions, and soak in the atmosphere of Ayutthaya.
This tour is perfect for travellers who want more than just tourist spots—a safe ride, a relaxed pace, and real local life.
Seasonal remark (Flood season)
Especially in October each year, some areas along the riverside in Ayutthaya may be flooded. If this happens, the route may be adjusted for safety, but we will still visit the main historical temples in the programme.
