On behalf of Slow Life Bicycle Tour by Guide Jimmy, we have created this itinerary to help you enjoy a relaxed, comfortable, and memorable cycling experience in Ayutthaya.
Our tours are designed to be unhurried, with plenty of time for photos, questions, local interaction, and discovering Ayutthaya beyond the usual tourist attractions.
Tour times: 8:30 a.m. – Enjoy cooler temperatures and a comfortable morning ride; 2:45 p.m. – Experience a cooler afternoon atmosphere, with beautiful late-afternoon and sunset light around the temples.
Although the maximum number of participants is 20 people, we keep the riding experience comfortable by dividing participants into smaller groups when they are not travelling together. Each group is normally limited to approximately 5–6 people per guide. We guarantee departure even with just one participant, while groups of 4 or more people will enjoy a private tour. We do not use standard public rental bicycles. Our bicycles are carefully selected for Ayutthaya’s road conditions and feature lightweight aluminium frames designed to provide a comfortable riding position throughout the tour. We provide a range of bicycles and equipment, including child seats, children’s bikes, touring bikes, mountain bikes, and city bikes in different sizes.
Discover Ayutthaya the slow and local way—by bicycle.
This guided cycling experience combines UNESCO World Heritage highlights, peaceful backroads, local communities, and authentic Thai food experiences. Whenever possible, the route avoids busy main roads and follows quiet, mostly shaded paths, making the ride comfortable and suitable for families, including those travelling with small children. The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, the group’s riding pace, and your preferred finishing time. Along the way, we may stop for lunch at a small local restaurant, or lunch can be arranged near the end of the tour. We also cycle through Hua Ro Market, giving you a glimpse of everyday local life before returning to the starting point.
Throughout the experience, the pace remains relaxed and flexible, allowing plenty of time for photographs, questions, rest stops, and discovering the quieter side of Ayutthaya.
Historical Park Entrance Fees
Please note that Historical Park entrance fees are not included in the tour price, as some guests may have already visited certain temples before joining the cycling tour.
We recommend preparing some cash for entrance tickets in case you would like to enter the historical sites during the tour.
