What you can expect

  • I invite you to learn about a programme for the conservation of 3 species of sea turtles (the olive ridley, the green sea turtle, and the leatherback sea turtle).

    This experience takes place on the Pacific coast. Playa Palmarito is home to a hatchery run by a team of conservationists, who provide us with information about the characteristics of the sea turtle life cycle.

    We'll meet baby turtles that are only 1 hour old, and we'll release them into the sea at sunset.

    Our experience lasts 2.5 hours, including the time for ground transport between Puerto Escondido and Palmarito Beach.
    Transport begins its route at 4:00 PM to pick up each of our bookings from their respective accommodation.

    Playa Palmarito is located just 20 minutes from Puerto Escondido on Federal Highway 200 near Bajos de Chila.
