Archery in nature offers an active yet peaceful outdoor experience on a private forest property. Upon arrival, you will first be welcomed and given a structured introduction by a certified archery instructor and certified archer. During this introduction, you will learn the most important safety rules, how the equipment is set up, and the basics of instinctive archery. The initial focus is on posture, breathing, and a clean sequence of movements, ensuring that both beginners and experienced participants can get off to the best possible start.
During the first part of the activity, which lasts about six hours, you will start with traditional target archery. This phase is designed to help you develop a feel for the bow and improve your personal technique. The instructor will provide individual guidance on posture, the anchor point, and how to aim at the target. Participants with prior experience will also benefit from this phase, as they can refine their technique or learn new approaches.
As the activity progresses, you will switch from classic targets to realistic 3D animal targets. These lifelike targets, made from a special rubber material, provide a particularly authentic experience and add extra variety to the training session. This phase incorporates various distances and different shooting angles. You will also have the opportunity to shoot from various heights – for example, slightly uphill or downhill – to practice adapting to natural terrain conditions.
In addition, selected survival elements are incorporated into the activity. These elements impart basic knowledge of nature and enhance awareness of the surroundings, the terrain, and safe movement in the forest. The result is a multifaceted experience that promotes concentration, coordination, and attentiveness, while also strengthening participants' connection to nature.
The activity is intended for participants aged 12 to 99 and is suitable for both beginners and experienced archers. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment; alternatively, the organiser will provide all the necessary gear. A bathroom is available on site. Please note that no food or drinks will be provided, so please bring plenty of water and your own food.
