It is in fact the first locality in the whole of Asia to get electricity and considered to be one of the biggest flower markets in Asia!
The market which is primarily a wholesale bazaar, is a riot of sounds, scents and colours sprawling over 47,000 sq m. Retailers, push-cart vendors, hoteliers and householders thronged the market to get fresh produce.
