What you can expect

Meet in front of Apiwat Railway Station and catch the local train to Nakhon Pathom. Enjoy a 1.5-hour ride through the countryside.

After a short 10-minute walk, arrive at Phra Pathom Chedi, the tallest stupa in the world. Walk around, admire the temples, and take some beautiful photos.

Head to a market or a cosy café near the chedi and try noodles, Thai snacks, or a sweet dessert.

Afterwards, continue to Wat Pailom.

Explore the quiet streets and small temples around the city by tuk tuk. Stop at Sanam Chandra Palace, a former royal residence with beautiful gardens. It’s a lovely spot for a short walk and some photos. Afterwards,
take a tuk-tuk back to Nakhon Pathom Station and catch the train back to Apiwat central train station.
