Knee pain? An infected tooth? Dry cough? During the Baroque period, citizens did not have access to doctors as we know them today. But people knew how to help themselves: There were all sorts of little remedies from the local herbalist, and there were barbers and charlatans. And they all touted their expertise, no matter how beneficial or harmful it was. Johanna Bader, an 18th-century woman who donned men's clothing to practice her grandfather's profession, shares stories about hygiene, dental treatment, orthopedic ailments, and all sorts of curiosities. Learn first-hand and solve a number of mysteries from days gone by.
On this interactive tour, you'll have to solve challenges and participate, and you'll learn a thing or two about 'the good old days.'
