What you can expect

  • Discover Hendaye in a different way with a simple and accessible kayak rental from the Bay of Txingudi.

After being welcomed by the Arteka Océan team, you collect your kayak, paddle, and gear, then set off to navigate freely on the water at your own pace. Txingudi Bay offers an ideal setting for a pleasant outing: generally more sheltered water, a magnificent view of Hendaye, Hondarribia, the mouth of the Bidassoa, and the mountains of the Basque Country in the background.

This activity is perfect for enjoying a moment of relaxation, for a light athletic outing, or simply to discover the coastline in a different way. Whether you are a couple, with friends, or as a family, kayaking offers a simple, friendly, and exotic experience that doesn't require a high level of technical skill.

Depending on the weather conditions and your level, you can enjoy the bay, or head out to sea towards Cap Figuier. The team will give you a safety briefing, recommended areas, and useful information before departure.

An ideal activity for those who want to experience the Basque Country from the ocean side, with a free, enjoyable outing that is accessible to all.
