What you can expect

Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Beijing. Travel in a comfortable private car to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the best-preserved and popular sections of this ancient wonder.

Mutianyu Great Wall is about 70 to 75 kms away from city centre of Beijing, it takes about 1.5hours by car, but during holidays and weekends recommend you leave earlier to avoid traffic and crowd.

Mutianyu Great Wall winds through the high mountains and deep valleys, offering a wide view and breathtaking scenery. While strolling along the Great Wall, you can fully enjoy the undulating mountains and dense forests, and feel the grandeur of nature and the ancient beauty of the Great Wall.

Upon arrival, take your time to explore the wall at your own pace. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys as you walk along the ancient stones. Learn about the history and significance of the Great Wall from your guide (but if you choose private car with English speaking driver option without tour guide).

After you explore the Great Wall, if you want stop for lunch or take some drinks to take a rest is available, at the Great Wall or near the Great Wall there are many restaurant to choose.

Next, head to the Ming Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the final resting place of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Explore the impressive architecture and learn about the history and culture of the Ming Dynasty.

The Ming Tombs are located in Changping District, Beijing. It's about 40 kilometres away from mutianyu great wall and takes about one hour by car.

This imperial cemetery covers an area of 40 square kilometres with 13 Ming emperors, 23 empresses, many imperial concubines, princes and princesses buried there, These tombs are the best-preserved of all Chinese imperial tombs. There are three parts are opened to public, the Sacred Way, Changling Tomb and Dingling Tomb. The Sacred Way is the first attraction of Ming Tombs, which is a main way leading to the thirteen imperial tombs inside the scenic area. The two lines of stone lifelike sculptures (12 beasts and 6 officials) on both sides are the highlight of the Sacred Way which are quite popular with visitors. Among the Ming Tombs, Changling is the largest, earliest and most magnificent with best preserved found constructions.
Dingling is the only one that the underground palace was excavated. You will visit one of them based on your interests.

After you visit the Ming Tombs, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
