Overview

Experience an original Belfast black taxi tour with a local qualified guide who grew up in the area where the tour takes place, in the time known as 'The Troubles'. Tour both sides of the Peace Wall of West Belfast's Falls and Shankill Roads.
Everyone has a storey to tell and our expert guides will share their own personal stories of how the conflict impacted their families, their community, and their own personal lives. Many of our guides, from both communities, were intimately involved in the troubles.
At each location, you will disembark from the taxi and a full explanation of the murals and locations will be given. There are lots of opportunities to take photographs at such famous locations such as the Bobby Sands Mural and the Lower Shankill estate and the gates that still close nightly. We also encourage visitors to feel free to ask any questions, and everyone will have the chance to sign the Peace Wall and leave their thoughts alongside famous people such as The Dalai lama
