What you can expect

Meet your guide, a local landscape designer and educator, set off on a foraging adventure through the historic Municipal Park in Belo Horizonte. Discover 30 species of edible and medicinal plants, learning about their uses and the park's unique landscaping.

As you walk, hear fascinating stories about the history of Belo Horizonte and the park itself, uncovering hidden gems and local secrets.

Halfway through the tour, enjoy a small snack made with plants found in the park. Continue your circular route, taking in the scenic views and appreciating the park's natural beauty.

After the Park we do a 15 minute walk to Belo Horizontes Central Market, an iconic place for our citizens and tourists, where we will do a little tour inside, tasting some local products and knowing a little bit more about the citys history and the Market`s magical environment that invites you to know more about our local cultures.

This tour has been running for almost a decade, offering a unique glimpse into Belo Horizonte's history and culture, and showcasing a lesser-known side of the city.
