At 9:00 AM, we will meet with the group and take a short walk to explore some of Belsh's most meaningful landmarks: the bust of our National Hero Skanderbeg, the monument of the Nymph of the Lakes, and the bust of the Albanian Renaissance figure Sami Frashëri. For the remaining 30 minutes, the group will have the opportunity to either enjoy a scenic bike ride around the lake or take a relaxing boat tour on the lake.
As soon as we arrive at Lake Dega we will be greeted by a breathtaking view from a high vantage point. Seen from above, the lake takes the shape of the map of Albania.
The next lake on our journey is Lake Merhoja — a truly unique destination where visitors can also enjoy the beach. With an impressive depth of 61 metres, its waters are crystal clear.
As soon as we arrive at Lake Seferani, we will be greeted by a surprising and enchanting sight — the Temple of the Goddess of Beauty, Aphrodite, and the nearby amphitheatre. We will explain why this sacred place was chosen specifically by the lake, and what deep symbolic and historical connection exists between the Goddess Aphrodite and the serene waters of Seferan.
For one hour, we will enjoy lunch at one of the best traditional guesthouses in Belsh, where we will savour authentic organic dishes like homemade byrek and lakror. We will also have the unique opportunity to taste saffron rakia.
As soon as we arrive at the art gallery, we will admire paintings and portraits created by painters and artists from all around the world. But do you know where this art gallery is built? You won’t believe it when you see it!
After finishing visit to the gallery, we will immediately head towards Dumrea Eco Park, travelling through the scenic village roads where we will see olive groves, hills, lakes, and more.Upon arriving at Dumrea Eco Park, you will be amazed by a vast 26-hectare tourist complex filled with natural beauty and attractions. We will explore the park on foot and have the option to cycle around, making our visit even more enjoyable.
For 30 minutes, we will observe part of the olive oil extraction process at one of the newest and best factories in the city, known for producing high-quality oil. There will also be an opportunity to purchase oil by the litre.
Right outside the factory, just across the road, appears the majestic Gradište Hill — an ancient Illyrian settlement and a true archaeological treasure.
We then head back towards the city of Belsh, where our next stop will be at the historic Belsh Fountain (Çezma e Belshit).
One of the most visited spots by both local and foreign tourists is the Belsh Fountain (Çezma e Belshit). This place has long been surrounded by a fascinating legend that we’ll share with you as soon as we arrive.
The final 30 minutes of our tour will be spent in the heart of Belsh, where we’ll visit a charming shop run by a young artisan who creates stunning handmade artificial flower bouquets. She is the only one in Albania crafting such unique pieces.
