      What you can expect

      • Surfing is fun, safe, healthy and highly energising!
        Classes are held in Uhabia beach one of the five beaches in Bidart.
        During high season from June to September this is where you will be following the courses. Bidart is a typical bask village, you will enjoy its style and architecture, the mood is friendly, quiet and authentic.

        As surfing has been taught since already 40 years in the bask country, it is a well known and safe activity open to everyone. Stable, wide and soft boards are provided to our customers in order to stand up quickly and be able to enjoy the ride close to the shore at the beginning.
        When the conditions allow us, we like to go further and help people to start on some rising waves to discover the feeling of taking off on the top of the wave. Emotions and fun ensured!

        HOW DOES UNFOLD A SESSION WITH HAPPY LIFE?
        A 5 steps approach allows us to be complete and precise in the act of teaching surfing.
        1 / Synthesis of the day conditions
        Tides, orientation of the wind, size of the waves and issues of the day are discussed to help you to understand the logic of our sport.
        2/FullWarmup
        In order to prepare the body to the effort and avoid injuries, you will move our beautiful bodies in different direction, speed and range of motion.
        3 / Definition of individuals goals
        Learn how to stand up in an efficient way, to choose a direction in a clear wave, enhance your paddling… you will receive some personal advices that will make the session a time for improvement.
        4 / The session itself
        Time for action and sensations! Let’s go in the water under the surveillance and assistance of a full dedicated instructor.
        5 / The after session
        Let’s share your feelings with the group and exchange few tips that will help everyone for the next session. Enjoy a simple moment of camaraderie after plenty of action.
