What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure with a warm-up abseiling (rappelling) session before heading down the exciting abseil descents in the canyon. The water is shallow and can generally be avoided, making it the ideal winter canyon. Expect wet feet and maybe your lower legs but no full immersion during the winter months.

    Enjoy a spectacular view into the Grose Valley Wilderness Area and the short walk out via the historic Point Pilcher track. The walk is steep in parts and takes just over 45 minutes to the top.

    This adventure takes place on Dharug and Gundungurra Country. We acknowledge their enduring connection with this Country, as they are the traditional custodians of this land, and we journey in respect of their Country.
