What you can expect

  • This Sunset tour combines a visit to Djeu Island with a relaxed afternoon by the sea in Boa Vista, ending the day with a cocktail as the sun goes down.

The experience starts at 3:00 PM with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation. From there, you’ll head to Praia de Estoril, one of the island’s most pleasant coastal areas. A traditional local boat will then take you across calm waters to Djeu Island. The crossing takes only about five minutes, making it an easy and enjoyable ride.

Once on the island, you’ll have time to explore the historic Fortress Duque de Bragança. This small fort played an important role in the island’s past and offers lovely views over the ocean and back towards Boa Vista. It’s a great place to take photos and learn a bit more about local history.

Afterwards, the tour slows down. You’ll have around one hour to enjoy Djeu Island’s quiet beach. Swim in clear waters, try some light snorkelling, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere away from the busier areas of the island.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll return by boat to Praia de Estoril. The day finishes at a nearby beach club, where a complimentary cocktail is already included. Here, you can sit back, enjoy your drink, and watch the sunset over the ocean, a perfect and relaxed way to end the experience.

This tour is ideal if you’re looking for an easy-going afternoon that mixes history, sea time, and a beautiful sunset moment in Boa Vista.
