What you can expect

  • Discover Djeu – the forgotten island off the coast of Sal Rei – and experience Boa Vista from a very special perspective.

A traditional Cape Verdean fishing boat will take you across the Atlantic to the small island of Djeu in just a few minutes. The crossing itself already offers stunning views of Sal Rei and the coast of Boa Vista.

Once you arrive on the island, you will explore the historic fortress and learn more about the history of this extraordinary place. Enjoy the tranquility, the unspoiled landscape, and the special atmosphere far away from the hustle and bustle.

Afterwards, there will be time to swim and snorkel in the clear waters around the island. Discover the underwater world of the Atlantic and enjoy the sea in a relaxed atmosphere.

The tour takes place in small groups with local guides and combines adventure, history, nature and the sea to create an authentic experience on Boa Vista.
