- 96018 Marzamemi SR, Italia | Meeting point: The San Francesco di Paola wharf, in the harbor of Marzamemi (SR), located a short walk from the charming Piazza Regina Margherita and the ancient Tonnara di Marzamemi. ⚓ The guide will be waiting for you directly at the boat moored along the pier. As a landmark, head towards the marina of Marzamemi and go to the San Francesco di Paola wharf, which you can recognize by the presence of pleasure boats and local fishing boats. The staff will be present on the wharf and will welcome you at the agreed time. If you have difficulty finding the meeting point, you can contact the contact person by phone. Parking areas are available nearby, and the historic old town of Marzamemi can be reached on foot in a few minutes. We recommend arriving a minimum of 15 minutes before departure.

What you can expect
We will depart from the Avola nautical club, crossing Lido di Noto, and arrive at the Vendicari reserve, where we will stop for a swim near the
️beaches of Eloro, Marianelli, and the world-famous Calamosche, getting as close as possible to show you and explain the history of the tonnara (the heart of the reserve).
Next, we will move to the area in front of Marzamemi, above the underwater museum, where there are 3 ️columns from the Roman era lying on the seabed, at a depth of about 7 metres. We provide everyone with fins and masks for some snorkelling.
Next, we will reach Portopalo di Capopassero, where you can admire the Tafuri Castle, the Spanish Fortress, and the Tonnara.
⏱️We will stop for about 45 minutes to swim and admire the beauty of the place.
During the break, our staff will offer and serve you our SICILIAN APERITIF:
Arancini with meat sauce, fresh fruit, sparkling wine, beer, and soft drinks.
After the aperitif, we will set off again for Marzamemi for a visit to the village that will last around 40 minutes, where you will be free to enjoy a delicious Cremolata made with fresh fruit.
After the break, we return to the base. The return crossing takes about 40 minutes, so we ask that you be on time at the pier. ⏱️
