What you can expect

3:30 pm, meet at the main square to start the expedition.
A shuttle will take us to the boat
A certified guide will meet us to give us the safety instructions for the boat expedition and tell us what kind of animals we'll see on our tour.

We'll head out on the boat along the Tambopata River, looking for caimans along the shore and freshwater turtles, as well as capybaras. We'll also visit an area where we can find three-toed sloths.

5:30 pm We'll arrive at an Amazonian plaza to watch the sunset and take photos.
6:00 pm We'll grab the torches to look for the caimans. We can find up to 4 species of caimans in the Tamboapta River.

7:30 pm: Return to the city and thanks for visiting Tambopata.
