Start your Brisbane morning the way it deserves — floating above the Scenic Rim at sunrise, with nothing between you and one of the most breathtaking views in Queensland. Then choose how your morning ends: raise a glass and go, breakfast among the vines with resident alpacas, or a premium Mount Tamborine experience.

Every experience begins with an approx 1 hour self-drive to the meeting point at Canungra or choose our VIP pickup from your Brisbane accommodation. At the launch site, watch your balloon inflate to the height of a ten-storey building before stepping into the basket with your experienced pilot.

For the next hour, drift silently above the Brisbane Scenic Rim. Watch the landscape unfold beneath you — rolling hills, vineyard valleys, and views across the region as your pilot shares the storey of this remarkable landscape.

After landing, step inside the balloon envelope (conditions permitting) for a unique guided look at the working interior of your aircraft. Then celebrate as your crew opens the sparkling wine. Your pilot personally signs your commemorative certificate of achievement — a tradition on every Hot Air flight — while you raise a glass in the paddock and toast to your adventure.

Then choose the morning that suits you:

Sparkling Wine & Photos — our best-value option. Self-drive daily. Celebrate in the paddock, collect your photo package and be back with the whole day ahead of you.

Vineyard Breakfast with Alpacas — weekends only. Self-drive to O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards for a full country breakfast with sparkling wine, then meet the resident alpacas — always a highlight.

Mount Tamborine VIP Experience — our premium option. Daily. VIP pickup and a lavish breakfast experience on Mount Tamborine, with views across the Scenic Rim. Photo package included at no extra cost.

Fly with confidence. Hot air ballooning is one of the safest forms of aviation in Australia. Hot Air is fully regulated by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) — the same federal authority that governs Australia's airlines — and every passenger is protected under the liability cover the Australian Government requires of all commercial air operators. With a proud safety record across 30+ years and a crew who simply won't fly if conditions aren't right, you're in experienced, professional hands from start to finish.

Your professionally shot photo package is ready the same day — nothing extra to pay. Taken by our skilled crew on SLR camera, it includes pre-flight portraits with the balloon flame behind you, remote-triggered in-flight shots from a camera suspended 10m from the basket and group or individual portraits at landing. Delivered as a Google Drive link within hours of your flight. Valued at $135, included at no cost. You are welcome to bring your own phone or camera too.

Self-drive customers meet at Canungra (primary) or Nerang (secondary). VIP pickup available from all Brisbane accommodation.
