Activity itinerary

Departure from Salta, we travel part of the Lerma Valley (Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril), detouring in Chicoana to enter the Escoipe Gorge. We made a technical stop for swimming, breakfast, charging water thermoses, etc. Then we went to Cuesta del Obispo, photo stop at Mirador de la Cuesta (panoramic view of the road travelled) and Piedra del Molino where the Church San Rafael (protector of travellers) is located. Next we enter Los Cardones National Park bordering the Recta de Tin Tin, a photo stop at the Nevado de Cachi viewpoint, Valle Encantado, and local stands selling seasonings and spices. Finally we reach the village of Cachi, where you will have 2 hours free for lunch, tour the square, the church and the Archaeological Museum. Back to Salta.
