This fantastic experience begins with a pick-up at your hotel. Once you arrive at Estancia Huyliche, our base of operations, you'll get to know the magnificent UTV UForce 1000 4x4s. After getting used to these vehicles at the base, we'll begin the ascent of Cerro Huyliche through the Arroyo Calafate ravine to Los Balcones, with the most beautiful views of Lake Argentino, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the Andes Mountain Range, including Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
The tour is conducted in tandem led by one of our tour guides. The speeds are relatively low as this is an adventure and nature activity, NOT A SPORT, and certainly not competitive. The goal is to have a lot of fun and experience 4x4 driving on real steppe and mountain roads.
Once we reach the upper balcony (1,100 metres), we'll begin the descent along the southern face of Cerro Huyliche towards the Cañadón del Arroyo Moyano, where we'll enter the Labyrinth of Stones, a curious rock formation created by wind erosion over thousands of years. There, we'll find marine fossils, various unique rocks and stones, and fantastic caves created by erosion, making it the ideal place for unforgettable photographs. There, we'll enjoy a hot soup, a snack, and a refreshment before continuing the descent between Cerro Huyliche and Cerro Calafate.
Upon arriving at the Estancia Huyliche after a 2-hour intense journey, we'll enjoy authentic Patagonian cuisine prepared by our chefs in the old workers' house. We'll also be able to visit the pens and the old shearing shed of this authentic Patagonian Estancia. After 3 hours of pure adventure, we'll take you back to your hotels.
