Know before you book

  • Children 2 and younger are complimentary.
  • You must be able to walk on unpaved or uneven terrain.
  • If you have limited mobility, you should not take part.
  • Rides take place every 30 minutes between 9 AM and 4 PM.
  • Note that there is a maximum weight limitation of 110kg to take part in this activity

What you can expect

You’ll feel like a desert scout, or even like Lawrence of Arabia as you ride a gentle camel along the seemingly endless dunes of Maspalomas. You don’t need to ride on the hump, by the way, as the camels are fitted with comfortable 2-seater saddles!

The ride on these gentle giants lasts for around 30 minutes and takes place in the desert landscapes of Gran Canaria. Imagine that you’re in the Sahara desert on this ride that’s accompanied by Saharawi guides.

Enjoy this unique way to discover the interior landscapes of Gran Canaria. Note that children younger than 3 years of age can ride with their parents for free.
