EXPLORE THE MEKONG DELTA BEYOND THE TOURIST TRAIL with the following activities & experiences in Can Tho.
Pick-up at 05:00 AM in Can Tho city centre (meeting point: Chợ Cổ Bến Phà, 156 Hai Bà Trưng). From there, walk to the boat station to board your sampan — a traditional wooden boat for the tour.
Activity 1: Can Tho sunrise on the Mekong river:
On the way to Cai Rang floating market, around 5:30am is the golden time to watch the stunning sunrise (sometimes) waking up slowly on the mighty Mekong river.
Activity 2: Cai Rang floating market:
Arrive at the floating market – a must see in Can Tho, Mekong Delta. Your guide will answer all your questions about the floating market. The experience includes the best noodle soup on the river tour. Even our guide will take care of your vegetarian breakfast as well.
Activity 3: Get to the local boat and interact with the real Mekong's life on the river. You will learn a lot with our well-trained tour guide. Enjoy the freshest pineapple on the river.
Activity 4: Visit the Mekong’s fish & farmer market reveals the Delta’s heartbeat — locals trading fish, fruits, and produce in a lively, authentic scene of daily life and community, untouched by mass tourism.
Activity 5: Explore Can Tho secret & small & peaceful canal:
Phong Dien or Cai Rang secret canal system is part of the amazing green canals of Can Tho, which is known as one of the 15 romantic cities with the most beautiful canals in the world.
Activity 6: Your sampan will slow down the long-tail engine, and cruising slowly so that you can enjoy as much as possible the Can Tho nature’s song and magical napa palm, water coconut, freshwater mangrove, coconut canals…
Activity 7: Take a village walk and watching the tropical fruit garden: (not apply for cycling tour)
What a fantastic village walk! Walking is the happiest way of your holiday to slow down and enjoy the untouched peaceful villages, tropical orchards, small canals & countryside life. About 15 minutes.
Activity 8: Can Tho organic cacao farm:
Visiting the organic cacao farm, was built in the 1960s and has been maintained until now, where the guide will give an explanation of characteristics, origin and uses of cacao and Mr. Cacao and how to make chocolates, wines, cosmetics…Have a glass of cacao milk (included).

• End the tour around 11AM-11:30AM at the meeting point.
