The Starzlachklamm is a gorge that offers fun for beginners and professionals alike.

High jumps and the spectacular final slide at Rudi's Klammhütte make a tour in the Starzlachklamm an unforgettable experience. Those who don't like it quite so wild are still in excellent hands here, as the spots that require the most courage are not mandatory here either.

Anyone who has ever followed the narrow path of the water through the Starzlach Gorge can get a rough idea of the unbridled energy with which the water has carved its way down from Grünten.

For the tourists who walk up the gorge path, we are a real sensation and a photo opportunity when canyoning a few metres below the path that was laboriously blasted into the mountain. However, while they only read about the power of the water and the numerous fossils in the Starzlachklamm, or catch a distant glimpse of them, we are right in the middle of it, in a fascinating world where we can run our hands over water mills and stand on petrified nummulites while looking down at an incredible water slide…

The entry fee to the gorge of €3 per person (collected by the Sonthofen Tourist Board) is included in the tour price.
Afterwards, you can stop at the Klammwirt Rudi or the nearby Seppl-Wirt for hearty Bavarian cuisine in suitably large portions.
