Day 1: Cappadocia – Kahta (Adıyaman)
Depart from Cappadocia in the morning and head to Kahta. On the way, visit the 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai Karatay Han, built during the reign of Seljuk Sultans Kilicarslan II and Alaaddin Keykubat. Learn about the importance of Silk Road trade routes.
After a short break in Pınarbaşı, continue driving towards Kahta. Upon arrival, drive to Cendere Bridge, Arsemia (Old Castle), and Karakus Tumulus.
Next, drive to Mount Nemrut to witness the breathtaking sunset among the colossal statues of kings and gods from the Commagene Kingdom. After sunset, head to your hotel in Adıyaman for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Nemrut – Şanlıurfa – Harran
Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Depart early in the morning and drive to Şanlıurfa. Make a photo stop at Atatürk Dam, one of the largest dams in the Middle East.
Visit Göbekli Tepe, the world’s oldest known temple complex (approx. 12,000 years old). Have lunch during the day. Continue to Harran, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Explore the famous beehive houses.
In Şanlıurfa, visit the Cave of Prophet Abraham and the Pool of Sacred Fish (Balıklıgöl). Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a boutique hotel or 4-star hotel.
Day 3: Şanlıurfa – Göreme
Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Birecik, famous for the endangered Northern Bald Ibis birds. Arrive in Göreme in the evening, where your tour ends.
