Enjoy an authentic Romagna gastronomic experience in the heart of Bologna, in the lively university area of Via Zamboni, where you'll learn to prepare piadina and cassoni from Rimini with your own hands.
It's not just a cooking class, but a participatory and convivial experience, made up of craftsmanship, taste, and tradition.
Guided by true Romagna artisans, you'll discover how to knead, roll out, stuff, and cook piadina and cassone starting from simple but authentic ingredients, such as extra virgin olive oil, local flours, and traditional fillings.
No previous experience is needed: each participant will have their own workstation, can work independently and learn step by step, in a relaxed, fun and typically Romagna atmosphere.
During the activity, you can taste different typical combinations such as Squacquerone and Arugula, prosciutto crudo, Romagna salami, cheeses, grilled vegetables, and local specialities.
All accompanied by good Romagna wine, Sangiovese, sparkling Pignoletto, or Rebola.
Between a preparation and a toast, you'll discover curiosities, traditions, and anecdotes about the origin of the piadina and the Romagna culture of eating together.
At the end, you can enjoy your creations together with the other participants, in a convivial moment reminiscent of real Romagna tables.
You'll also get an illustrated handout with recipes, history, tips, and variations to make piadina and cassoni at home, with friends or family. You can even take the prepared products home with you!
An authentic, creative, and convivial activity—ideal for singles, couples, friends, and curious travellers who want to experience Bologna through hands, taste, and tradition.
