What you can expect

  • Leave Palermo behind and embark on a full-day journey through Sicily’s stunning coastline, history, and culture. This small-group experience blends the charm of the sea with UNESCO heritage and authentic Sicilian life — all in one unforgettable day.

Travel comfortably along the coast in a luxury Mercedes minivan or minibus. After just under two hours, you’ll reach Cefalù, a postcard-perfect medieval town where cobbled streets lead to golden sands and a sparkling bay.

Here, you can choose your preferred way to enjoy the morning:

Boat Trip Option: Set sail on a 3-hour cruise along Cefalù’s coast. Swim in crystal-clear waters, snorkel among colourful fish, and enjoy a refreshing aperitivo with local flavours on board — all while soaking up the Sicilian sun. (Boat trip subject to weather conditions.)

Free Time Option: Stay on land and explore at your own pace. Wander through Cefalù’s charming old town, visit the UNESCO-listed Norman Cathedral, stroll the beach, or relax at a seaside café.

After lunch on your own, the adventure continues to Monreale, where one of Sicily’s greatest treasures awaits. Visit the Monreale Cathedral, a masterpiece of Arab-Norman art, world-famous for its breathtaking golden mosaics. With your included audioguide, uncover the rich history and hidden details of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

As the day comes to an end, sit back and enjoy the scenic ride back to Palermo, your mind filled with images of the glittering sea, ancient streets, and the timeless beauty of Sicily.
