Thodorou Island, a designated Natura 2000 site, offers a unique opportunity
to witness rare local wildlife, including the famous Kri-Kri goats, within its
untouched natural environment. This journey promises an idyllic escape,
combining serene cruising with the chance to experience Crete’s natural
wonders and spectacular marine landscapes.

It has been 100 years since the shipbuilding of M/Y IRINI started as “M/S
Silver Cloud”. It was an autumn day in Liverpool of England. A real vessel
miniaturised, which kept its authentic style and has survived to these days.
The vessel first sailed as a yacht owned by a wealthy Englishman for over 20
years. In 1955, the ownership was transferred into Greek hands, and with
some modifications and improvements, she cruised the Mediterranean Sea by
the name ‘’Monica’’.
In 1989, the owner renamed her as ‘’IRINI’’ and operated her as a cruise ship
at Chania Bay. After three years (while a marine hull and machinery renewal
took place), with love and respect, the ship started cruising the picturesque
Cretan sea once more proudly, offering you top safety and service in a unique
summer escape.
In 2024, M/Y IRINI was transferred to the operation of Creta Luxury Cruises,
undergoing a unique luxurious renovation process, in order to offer guests the
services one cannot encounter in similar-sized yachts within the area of
Chania.
