Please note that this tour has two booking options.
Option A: (Incl. Long Neck & Boat Tour): Includes entrance to the Long Neck Karen Village. No extra payment is required on the day.
Option B: (Excl. Long Neck): Includes the boat tour along the Mekong River but does not include admission to the Long Neck Karen Village. who choose this option may wait at the entrance area (about 30 minutes).
The rest of the itinerary is the same for both options.

• 07.00 am. Pickup from the hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai early in the morning:

After 1.30 hours, the driver will break for 15-20 minutes at a natural hot spring along the way to Chiang Rai

Next, visit the hilltribes in Chiangrai. The Karen Hill Tribe is an ethnic group known for the distinctive practice of its women wearing brass rings around their necks, arms, and legs.
The Hill Tribe people primarily reside in the mountainous regions of northern Thailand, particularly in the Chiang Rai province, as well as in parts of Myanmar (Burma).
*Explore the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun): Spend 1 hour exploring the White Temple, a stunning masterpiece of Thai art and architecture. Admire the intricate carvings and designs on the outside, and marvel at the intricate sculptures and murals inside.

Thai Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Thai buffet lunch at a local restaurant, allowing you to savour authentic flavours. If the restaurant is closed, we will offer a set menu instead

Following lunch, you will visit the Black Museum, which features black-and-white artwork. Then proceed to Blue Temple.

*Visit the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten): Spend around 45 minutes exploring the Blue Temple, known for its striking blue and gold design and beautiful murals depicting local mythology and Buddhism.

The journey continues with a visit to the Golden Triangle, a location known for its opium trafficking in the past, where you can view the meeting points of Thailand, Burma, and Laos before boarding a boat on the Mekong River.

*Return to Chiang Mai: After a day of exploration and cultural immersion, return to Chiang Mai at 10.00 p.m.
