Believe the hype. This city centre kayaking trip has it all and anyone who does it leaves saying it was the best thing they did in Austin. Just check out our reviews online.

This is our #1 booked tour for a reason. Here's why: It's four incredible trips in one. First, you paddle the length of city centre during the golden hour. Then we catch the sunset over the water. The bats are the main event and we end with a city centre paddle at night!

You’re looking at this trip's kayak version, which is great for 1-2 person bookings. If you’re a larger group, you should consider the Giant Paddle Board version of the same trip!

We also offer this same tour on Giant Paddle Boards. Don’t let the word paddle board scare you. These things are ultra-stable and huge! The following people should 100% book the giant paddle boards instead of the kayaks. People in groups of 3+. People who weigh more than 260 lbs. Families with kids. Please book whichever vessel you prefer. If you want the giant paddle board, click that link!

Here’s why we are the best: We have offered this tour for over 10 years and all of our guides are world travellers with extensive kayak backgrounds who are also great storytellers. We have brand new kayaks with excellent back support and better-equipped guides than any other company on the water. We will teach you how to kayak and then you’ll be kayaking within 10 minutes of the start time. We are the only tour that makes the sunset a priority and we are semi-structured meaning there is a lot of flexibility to roam before and after the bat show. We will ensure you see the bats from the best vantage point at the correct time. Most days our guides can predict the bat flight time within minutes! We use the latest iPhones and send you high-quality photos for free at the end of the night.
