What you can expect

Join our City of David Tour Jerusalem and explore the ancient heart of biblical Jerusalem. This immersive one-day tour takes you beneath the modern city to where Jerusalem’s history began, from King David’s era through the Second Temple period.

We start with a panoramic view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives or Mount Scopus, then enter the City of David near the Dung Gate. Inside, we will overlook the Kidron Valley and ancient burial caves, learning why King David chose this strategic capital.

The journey continues through remarkable archaeological remains, including King David’s palace, a Proto-Aeolic capital, a four-room house, and the Gihon Spring. From there, we walk to the historic Pool of Siloam and ascend the ancient stone-paved Pilgrimage Road. Finally, we head to the Jewish Quarter for a lunch break, concluding the day on Mount Zion at King David’s Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper.
