What you can expect

We meet at the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street (map is linked on our booking page). You’ll board our comfortable coach, meet our legendary guide and fellow adventurers, then head west out of Dublin. There are quaint villages, lush countryside and even some castle ruins to see as we head towards the west of Ireland. You'll be crossing the width of Ireland this morning!

On our way to the Ailwee caves we will take a scenic route with a photo stop at Dunguaire castle

The Ailwee Caves in the heart of the Burren is Ireland’s premier caves system and a real treat for anyone who enters. The cave system is the largest in Ireland and has a treasure chest of both stalactites and stalagmites. This is a spectacular guided tour into this underground world that will amaze you at every corner.

We then visit one of Irelands most famous Dolmens. it's not everyday do you get to see a 5000 year old burial tomb, even older than the Pyrmids! This stop at Pounabrone Tomb or dolmen will get you up close to a structure build by man 3600 BC ! The site was excavated in 1986 and produced human remains 16 adults and children with some artefacts.

It's time for lunch, so we head to Doolin - a beautiful village famed for its traditional music on the edge of the Atlantic. We usually go to Fitzpatrick’s Pub where the seafood is particularly good. If you like seafood, the food should leave you very satisfied. Don’t worry if you are not a fan of seafood, there are plenty of other options available. ( lunch not included )

Now you will get to walk the cliff tops to view the Cliffs of Moher from its iconic standpoint. You will have access to the visitor centre to learn about the history of the local area, the flora, fauna and geology. The Cliffs Of Moher is Ireland’s most popular natural site and once you stand looking at this awesome natural wonder you’ll understand why !

After your amazing adventure to the edge of the world and back you can reminisce about your wonderful day back in Dublin.
