You will travel along the famous "Black Head" coastal loop, a road that hugs the edge of Europe. On your left, the scenery rises into the "Lunar Landscape" of the Burren—a vast, glaciated pavement of pale grey limestone that looks less like Ireland and more like the surface of the moon. On your right, the wild Atlantic Ocean stretches endlessly, offering uninterrupted views of Galway Bay and the distant Aran Islands.
