Life is anything but sunny at the “Villa Sonnenschein” retirement home. Care and visits are rare, and home director Mechthild is pursuing profit-making plans with Dr. Mathieu. When the young nurse Felix gets on their trail, he mobilises the elderly to revolt. With new courage, they stand up against being forgotten and fight for
dignity, freedom, and a bit of happiness in old age.

A quirky puppet musical by the creators of “Die Königs von Elbflorenz”, where people and characters act together. A loving mix that hits the heart with imagination, wit, and a pinch of “Sesame Street.”
