With your facilitator, you’ll visit the Central Market of Athens, selecting fresh ingredients like locals do, followed by a pleasant 15-minute walk through the historic old town.
The cooking takes place in a traditional area taverna, a real, lively restaurant where Athenians gather daily. This is not a private studio, but an authentic setting filled with the sounds, aromas, and energy of everyday city life. Guided by a professional Greek cook, you’ll learn how to prepare classic, home-style dishes.
After cooking, sit back and enjoy what you’ve made together: traditional starters, salads, and main courses such as tzatziki, dolmadakia, Greek salad, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, and a sweet finish with chocolate salami—all enjoyed in a cosy taverna in Athens’ historic centre.
