Discover the landscapes of the Serra da Estrela and the Serra da Gardunha in an experience created for those who want to slow down, breathe, and feel the mountain with greater presence. MAR da Serra – Move • Air • Restore combines a scenic route with short stops at observation decks, where the focus is on well-being: gentle movement, mindful breathing, and contemplation of nature.

Along the way, at each stop, the guide invites participants to awaken their bodies and breathe in the mountain air mindfully. The exercises are simple, optional, and done standing up. You don't need sportswear, a mat, or previous experience in yoga, meditation, or physical activity — each person participates at their own pace, according to their comfort, or can simply contemplate the scenery and take photographs.

During the experience, you will be able to see valleys and sweeping views of the Cova da Beira, feeling the differences between the two mountain ranges. The stops include iconic locations such as the Miradouro das Portas do Sol, the Varanda dos Carqueijais, and Paul, chosen to provide open panoramas and meaningful moments of pause.

More than “visiting” the mountain, this activity invites you to feel it: move gently, breathe with presence, and take with you a feeling of serenity and renewal. The tour ends at the same point where it started, with transport included throughout the entire route.
